Integra-А built a fully autonomous multi-site IP-connected DMR Tier II radio network for an independent production company during the filming of a reality format in a remote area of the Rhodopes, without GSM coverage or internet.
Challenge
The production team needed reliable communication in a vast mountainous terrain where standard mobile networks provide no coverage. Besides the technical solution, the project required transport, installation and autonomous power supply for equipment in hard-to-reach points without road access.
Solution
ntegra-А delivered, transported, installed and commissioned a DMR radio system with 4 Hytera RD985 repeaters, IP connectivity via 5 GHz relay links, 35 handheld radio stations HP605 and HP685, 2 base radio stations HM785, 15-metre antenna towers and autonomous power supply via solar panels, batteries and petrol generators.
Result
The system provided stable digital radio communication for the filming crew throughout the entire production period, with two independent networks, work groups and subgroups, a dispatcher station and reliable coverage in an area without GSM and internet infrastructure.
