The Icom IC-R8600 is a high-performance wideband communications receiver covering 10 kHz to 3 GHz. It receives conventional analog modes including USB, LSB, CW, FSK, AM, FM and WFM, as well as a range of digital protocols including D-STAR, P25 Phase 1, NXDN, dPMR and DCR.
The large 4.3-inch color touchscreen provides fast access to operating functions, while the built-in real-time spectrum scope with waterfall display makes it easier to find and monitor signals. The receiver provides up to 2000 regular memory channels, multiple scanning modes and received-audio recording to an SD card.
The IC-R8600 can be remotely controlled over an IP network or USB using the optional RS-R8600 software. A digital I/Q output is also available for signal analysis and decoding with compatible third-party software.
