YAESU HRI-200 is the hardware interface for WIRES-X, connecting a compatible amateur radio or repeater to a computer and the Internet for long-distance Voice-over-IP communication.
The unit is USB bus-powered and supplied with ready-made cables for compatible YAESU equipment. WIRES-X supports both C4FM digital and traditional analogue FM users, including mutual communication between the two modes.
